Coming Soon to Kickstarter
Legends of Draconia presents a high-fantasy world shaped by ancient powers, perilous magic, legendary creatures, and enigmatic gods. Although danger and uncertainty cast long shadows across the world of Draconia, the setting is also defined by courage, discovery, fellowship, and hope. Adventurers can stand together against tyranny, uncover forgotten truths, protect their communities, explore wondrous realms, and become legends whose stories echo far beyond their time.
Legends of Draconia uses the PGRS gaming system, our d6 roll-and-keep system which prioritizes freedom and flexibility in both character design and gameplay, from nested skill trees which let you focus on exactly what you want your character to excel at doing, to an Action Point based combat system which awards strategic thinking and makes every turn in combat feel unique.
Our second core game adds magic and spellcasting to the PGRS, with an emphasis on creativity. Aimed at providing a detailed and immersive experience for those who wield the forces arcane, spellcasters in Legends of Draconia can use the Thaumaturgy Skill to thematically modify or weave new spells on the fly using our Improvised Spellcasting system. Learning how the various Arcana interact will let players feel like a true Mage Master in their own right.

We plan for the Legends of Draconia Kickstarter Campaign to go live on Kickstarter Q2 of next year. In the meantime, we have made a playtesting version of the game available to download for free so you can see what the game is about and preview what the quality of the finished game will be. Reach out and let us know what you think!
Several items worth noting for those who download the Playtesting Build:
This playtesting document does not include every playable Species and/or Career- we are saving most of those for the full Core Rulebook release. The ones we chose to include in this document should give you a good taste of how the game can be played.
You may notice tables numbers jump; that is not a mistake, we left certain tables out of the document at this point that will be included in the full version of the game.
The playtesting document has been edited but the text is not final in all cases. Please be patient if you find mistakes and feel free to share so we can correct them!
The following chapters are not included in the playtesting document: Chapter 11 (History and Religion), Chapter 12 (Travel and Hazards), Chapter 13 (Game Mastering), Chapter 14 (Allies and Antagonists) and Chapter 15 (Atlas of Tristor). Most of these chapters are setting/lore heavy so we didn’t think they were necessary for the playtest, with the exception of Chapters 13 and 14. Having said that, anyone who wants to try their hand at running playtest games of LoD as a GM should reach out to me and I can provide antagonist stat blocks and notes on how the CCR system will work (beyond what was already laid out in Omega Horizon) with magic and the like. Happy to have discussions about it!
